At Down South Patriot, the cost of shipping is INCLUDED in the price of each handcrafted product in our online store, including our large furniture items.

Down South Patriot will make every effort to make sure your beautiful hand made product arrives in a timely manner free of damage, so we oversee the entire packing and shipping process up to the point of pickup. 

We ship entirely with our shipping partners UPS and FedEx.  Our large furniture items ship UPS freight. You will be able to track your item, either UPS or FedEx ground or UPS freight, with our tracking link sent in your order confirmation email.  Please note: for freight orders, the freight carrier offers curbside delivery only and it is your responsibility to bring the item to your door. We deliver any order over $100 free of charge anywhere in the Florida Keys. Shipping outside of the contiguous 48 states is not included in the retail price.  Please call for international shipping costs.

Production and Shipping Times at Down South Patriot

Production times vary depending upon the item ordered.  Since every item is hand made, please allow  4-8 weeks for delivery.  Custom lettering and logos may require extra time, however we do everything in our power to exceed the 4-8 week estimate.  We offer expedited shipping if you need it sooner- call us for rates.

The Down South Patriot Quality Guarantee

We at Down South Patriot stand behind our products and our production and assembly of each cabinet or furniture piece.  We warranty all of our products to be free of defects of workmanship to exclude shipping and handling damage for the life of the product. This warranty is extended to the original purchaser only and is not transferable. This Limited Lifetime Warranty is subject to the following exclusions and limitations listed below.  Down South Patriot will repair or replace, at its discretion, any product shown to be defective in workmanship or faulty components.  Defective components, such as hinges or pistons, will be sent to the owner of the item in lieu of shipping the product back for repair.

The following limitations apply:

1.      Warranty is limited to usual wear and tear from normal use and not subject to abuse or misuse of the item.
2.      Proper care and cleaning will keep your Down South Patriot cabinet or furniture item looking like new for years to come.  Pine, fir, cedar, cypress and spruce are softwoods and are more prone to dents and gouges than hardwoods like oak or maple.  Please exercise due caution in everyday use.
3.      Components are subject to limited warranty terms

Hinges:  1 year from date of purchase

Lifts:  1 year from date of purchase

Magnetic locks:  1 year from date of purchase

RFID locks:  3 months from date of purchase

The following is a list of warranty exclusions:
·        Improper installation of product
·        Shipping and handling damage (see our return policy below)
·        Lost or stolen item, in whole or part
·        Use of caustic or pine oil-based cleaners, or petroleum or alcohol based solvents on finishes (please email us for recommended cleaning products and techniques)
·        Dents, dings, gouges due to misuse, improperly installed or dropped item
·        Fading of stain by placing in direct sunlight environments
·        Exposure to moisture or wet conditions unless item is specifically designed for such application
·        Putting items outside that are not outdoor rated
·        Any type of neglect, misuse or abuse not listed above.
Natural wood grain varies, and every hand made natural wood item has a unique personality.  Natural grain and surface imperfections are normal and to be expected, as they add to the personality of the individual piece.  These should not be misconstrued as defects, and Down South Patriot reserves the right to disallow warranty claims for such reasons.

Every item produced for sale at Down South Patriot is inspected by our quality control associates.  Every item is checked for structural defects, dimensional correctness, proper hardware function and every item is free of major defects in wood grain or finish.  We guarantee that you are happy with the product you receive or we will make It right.

Product Return Policy:
At DSP, we want you to love your new patriotic cabinet, plaque or concealment furniture, but we understand that situations arise beyond our control.  Should you be unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please contact our customer service department at, or call us at:

Exchanges:  If your product is defective or damaged when it arrives and we can't make it right by sending replacement parts, we offer a 7 day like-for-like exchange policy.  Returned item must be sent back with all original accessories.  Please allow 4-8 weeks for replacement item to arrive. Please check the item you are returning as we cannot be responsible for any personal effects left in cabinets or drawers.
Refunds: Please contact our customer service department.   Customer satisfaction is our #1 priority at Down South Patriot, and there are those rare occasions when a full purchase price refund is the only recourse.  We will do everything in our power to make you a happy owner of a Down South Patriot product, but if we can't measure up, worry not.  You're in good hands.  No 'restocking' fee ever.  Unfortunately we cannot refund shipping costs.


Order cancellations and alterations happen, so at Down South Patriot we want you to know we understand.  We offer a full 48 hours to cancel or make changes to customized products.  We want to get your product to you in a timely manner, so after 48 hours, we're knee-deep in making your item.  Please contact our customer service department at
